Bridal Makeup
As girls, many of us start imagining our wedding day from a very young age – from the dress and the venue to the flowers, decorations and, of course, how we want to look on one of the most important days of our lives.
Perfect makeup is an important part of the overall look, but for me, bridal makeup is not about creating the same predetermined look for every bride. It is about finding the look that makes you feel like the most beautiful, most radiant version of yourself.
Your bridal makeup can be natural, soft and glowing, especially if you rarely or never wear makeup in your everyday life, but it can also be more glamorous, defined and statement-making. What matters most is that the final look feels like you – and that you never feel as though the makeup is wearing you rather than the other way around.
When designing your makeup look, I take into consideration your face and eye shape, your skin, your personality, as well as the overall style of your wedding, your dress, your hairstyle and, of course, how you would like to see yourself in your photographs.
The Bridal Makeup Trial
For me, the trial is one of the most important parts of the process. It gives us the time and space to explore which colours, textures and makeup styles suit you best, and to create the look together – one that will make you feel confident, beautiful and completely yourself on your wedding day.
The trial also means that we do not have to experiment on the morning of your wedding. By the time the big day arrives, we will already know exactly what your makeup will look like, so all you need to do is sit back, relax and enjoy those special moments of getting ready.
When it comes to bridal makeup, long-lasting wear and photography are especially important to me. I create makeup that looks beautiful in both natural and artificial light, up close as well as in photographs, while remaining comfortable to wear throughout the day.
Makeup trial: 1.5–2 hours
Bridal makeup: approx. 1.5 hours
I am also happy to provide makeup for the mothers of the bride and groom, family members, witnesses and bridesmaids on your wedding day. For larger groups, scheduling and a personalised quote can be arranged by email.
